Campbell’s Wetland, Griffith – Nature’s Playground

The FRP wetland boardwalk Griffith project at Campbell’s Wetland showcases how composites create safe, sustainable, and low-maintenance infrastructure in natural environments. Anchor Products supplied and supported this iconic ‘nature’s playground’ with durable FRP systems.

A haven for twitchers, Campbell’s Wetlands is approximately 6kms north of Griffith CBD and attracts an abundance of birdlife, including freckled, pink-eared, blue-billed and musk ducks. This is the perfect place to take a walk around the edge of a wetland during the summer months to see bush birds and migratory wading birds. Featuring native tree planting and interpretive signs including Wiradjuri traditional uses, a visit to Campbell’s Wetland is sure to be a special environmental and cultural learning experience. Partnering with a local contractor and Griffith City Council Anchor Products was able to deliver a magical native flora and fauna experience for all residents of the region and tourists alike! Anchor was able to fully supply all required products including AnchorMax and AnchorMesh to replace the old and run down boardwalk which had become unsightly and a safety hazard for those looking to enjoy this important bird area. This is one of the jobs we love as it helps people to get outside and supports local government in the upkeep of important assets. The selection of Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) products for a job like this is perfect as they are long wearing, non corrosive, have great grip for all weathers and look smart.
