FIBREACCESS’s FRP handrail fittings, also known as joint connectors, provides the optimal solution for connecting and securing railings and guardrails together. These fittings come in various shapes to accommodate a wide range of angles and connections, and are specifically designed for their anti-aging properties, lightweight construction, and high strength. They are manufactured using sheet mould compound (SMC) technology, ensuring superior mechanical strength. We can also provide customized fittings in special shapes upon request, depending on the required quantity.

Staircases

Additionally, our staircases can also be supplied fully assembled, including all components from stringers, to guardrail, stair treads and tread supports – all made from high-quality FRP. Our staircases are compliant with AS 1657, ensuring they meet the strictest safety requirements.

It is possible to incorporate LED lighting underneath the handrail, which ensures that the steps are adequately illuminated throughout the day and night.

Step Ladders

Our FRP step ladders are designed to provide a safe and efficient way for your employees to access elevated areas. They are compliant to AS 1657 and come in a range of configurations to suit your specific requirements.

Our step ladders can also be customized to include safety gates and safety cages, providing additional protection against falls. The safety cages can also be used to prevent unauthorized access to certain areas, as they can be fitted with locks. Our step ladders are lightweight, non-conductive, and non-corrosive, making them ideal for use in harsh industrial environments.

The FRP Access Ladders from the FIBREACCESS collection are constructed using structural sections made of Glass Reinforced Plastic Pultruded material. These sections are much more robust than their metal counterparts when compared in terms of weight. Composite ladders are particularly well-suited for use in harsh environments where corrosion is a concern, such as in the water, waste, marine, and chemical industries. All safety cages and composite ladders are produced in-house and designed to meet the dimensional requirements outlined in AS 1657.

The product is highly versatile and can be used in a wide range of applications, such as chemical plants, water and waste treatment facilities, marine and offshore environments, petrochemical facilities, power stations, and sub-stations. In addition, it is suitable for many other scenarios that require safe access to raised or underground areas.

There are several types of ladders available, including:

STANDARD:
A straight ladder commonly used in chambers or manholes to assist with access through a trapdoor. Typically, foot and wall brackets are used for installation, and a raised ladder may be required for certain situations to prevent ragging up in a sewer.
WITH SAFETY CAGE:
Similar to the standard ladder, but for any ladder exceeding 2.2m in height, a safety cage is mandatory.
WITH WALK-THROUGH TOP:
The top of the ladder is widened for ease of use and is often utilized to access platforms with handrails. FIBREACCESS Ladders are customizable in both yellow and grey colors. We also offer a choice of Stainless Steel or Fibreglass Wall Brackets for isolating the ladder from the wall by 200mm.

Flooring Covers

Our FIBREACCESS Flooring Covers are specially designed to cater to high footfall applications, offering a safe and slip-resistant pedestrian walking area. This strip system can be conveniently retrofitted onto existing structures like walkways, ramps, factory floors, and bridges to provide a high level of safety and prevent slips.

FIBREACCESS Flooring Cover is made of non-porous material, which makes it resistant to dirt build-up and easy to clean. It can withstand aggressive cleaning agents without any damage, ensuring durability and longevity. The GRP Plate is versatile and can be retrofitted onto existing concrete, steel, or timber structures, providing a safer and more durable alternative to traditional steel and plastic anti-slip products.

FIBREACCESS Flooring Cover range is highly customizable, offering bespoke sizes, colors, and grades of grit surface (fine, medium, or heavy duty), and chemical resin options (general purpose, chemical resistant, or fire-resistant) tailored to the specific needs of the client. This ensures that our range provides the perfect solution for a wide range of industrial applications.

Typically, the product in question is manufactured to a standard thickness of 4.5 mm, which has been carefully determined to provide optimal performance and durability in various applications and to reduce trip hazards as per AS 1657.

Tread Covers

FIBREACESS FRP nosing is a durable and reliable solution for step edges, offering features such as long-wearing, anti-corrosive, and non-slip properties. It is specifically designed to re-profile the leading edge of any step, making it an ideal option for corrosive applications.

Features

The product’s longevity is impressive, lasting up to five times longer than metallic alternatives, and providing cost savings not only in initial product cost but also in reduced installation time and cost.
It also contains fire-retardant additives that comply with ASTM E84, ensuring excellent fire and heat resistance.
The heavy-duty grit surface is impregnated to prevent delamination, which is a common issue with insecure metal-backed alternatives. Additionally, FIBREACCESS Nosing is resistant to chemicals, making it perfect for use in corrosive environments.
It is specifically designed to re-profile the leading edge of any step, making it an ideal option for corrosive applications.
Constructed from robust fibreglass FRP, it can withstand even the harshest conditions.

Rung Covers

FIBREACCESS rung covers are highly effective in inclement weather conditions where moisture in the air reduces the floor’s traction. Our ladder rung covers provide a much-needed solution to reduce accidents on ladders, which are among the riskiest surfaces to walk on due to their small foot space

Additionally, FIBREACCESS rung covers are highly resistant to corrosive mixtures, severe weather, and chemicals, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. Installing our rung covers is made easier by the availability of accurately pre-drilled fixing holes.

The standard Safety Yellow color provides excellent visual highlighting, but custom colors can also be requested. These rung covers are available in lengths up to 3250mm, making them suitable for various applications such as Wine Production, Shipping, Truck Body Building, Water Treatment, Marine, Chemical, and more.

FIBREACCESS Rung covers can be tailored to fit both round and square surfaces, with dimensions that can be customized to your requirements. Available in diameters of 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 38mm, and 42mm, the RungSAFE® rung covers offer a versatile andadaptable solution for your needs.

Flooring, Tread and Rung Covers

FIBREACESS’s pedestal deck supports are produced using 20% post-industrial recycled materials. These supports are designed to create level rooftop decks over sloped surfaces. Our pedestals are ideal for elevating and supporting FRP Gratings, Concrete Pavers, Site Furnishings, WPC decking and a range of other surfaces when a durable, high-quality commercial-grade decking solution is necessary.
